About Us

Traducy, LLC, started in November 2021 as a rebranding of the former Two Worlds Interpreting and Translating. We created the company to help with the translating and interpreting needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Barbara Rosner, owner and founder of the company, has a long professional career as an interpreter and translator. She started in 1996 as an interpreter for the family real estate business in Perú. Many of the family business's clients were from foreign countries and had English as a language in common. Barbara also translated real estate sell-purchase contracts for the company.

In 1996, Barbara went to the Escuela Superior de Interpretación y Traducción (ESIT) - Interpreting and Translating School - Lima, Peru, to study the Specialized Translating Program and obtain her Diploma in Commercial Translating (1996), Business Translating (1997), and Financial Translating (1997). In 1998, she started working for Kilborn-Goldstrike USA/Canada as an interpreter and translator for the Pierina Mine in Ancash, Peru. In 1999, Barbara arrived in the USA and worked as a Spanish instructor for the Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada. She volunteered to teach English to Spanish-speaking students in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program.

After moving to Salt Lake City - Utah, in 2002, she started The Butterfly Pen, a translating company that later became Two Worlds Interpreting and Translating and now Traducy, LLC. In 2020, she obtained the Bridging The Gap medical interpreting certification and started to interpret remotely for medical centers.

Traducy, LLC is a company focused on bringing LEPs and English-speaking communities together and offering an efficient solution to communication barriers.
